Travel in Style

With the founding of Plan&Go, a great dream of mine came true.

I feel fortunate that I had the opportunity to experience the joy of travel at a very young age. I traveled to places around the world that, back then, were not as common to visit as they are today. For example, one Friday after my dad came home from work, he decided we should go to Italy. From the next day, we spent a week in Venice. Through these travels, I also realized that knowing foreign languages is essential for understanding the culture or history of a country. This broadened my horizons, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I was able to read numerous descriptions of different countries in various languages. I am still grateful to my family for these experiences and for making them possible for me as a child.

My husband, who also had the opportunity to travel a lot as a child and studied abroad for several years, shares my passion for travel and discovering new countries. After we met, we indulged in this hobby, the world opened up to us, and we started organizing trips where we could discover the unique and lesser-known gems of the world together.

Among the many destinations we visited, Costa Rica became one of our favorites. What we love most is spending days or even weeks in the depths of the rainforest, feeling close to nature and wildlife, while encountering very few people. During countless tours, we absorbed the essence of the region, experiencing unexpected situations. We learned a lot from the locals and tour guides, who could spot animals, previously seen only in nature documentaries, in the most improbable places.

Another favorite destination of ours, alongside Central America, became New Zealand. We were captivated by the enchanting, movie-like beauty of its nature and its rich, vibrant wildlife. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience to reach such a distant part of the world and meet the Maori people, who were incredibly hospitable and helpful.

Our trip to Vietnam provided us with an even more unique and different experience from our previous travels. Ho Chi Minh City is a truly dynamic and bustling city where we regularly crossed six-lane roads without traffic lights on foot. We learned to do this confidently but very slowly, by observing the locals. To our surprise, cars and motorbikes stopped or maneuvered around us. Since then, we have successfully used this technique in many similar cities and regions worldwide, from southern Italy to Asia.

During our travels, we have been enriched with numerous unique experiences, and the many adventures have shown us the diversity of the world. As a result, we have become increasingly open to different cultures and customs. Through sometimes extraordinary experiences and memorable trips, we have learned to accept people’s differences and understand that situations can be approached and solved in many ways – after all, all roads lead to Rome. Thanks to our varied travels, we are now confident, comfortable, and at ease in numerous life situations, anywhere in the world.

Alongside experiencing the joy of travel, it is equally important for us to enjoy the delight of discovery in the greatest comfort and quality. Even in the most secluded and exotic regions of the world, there are luxury hotels and first-class private villas that pamper guests with premium service, in perfect harmony with the beautiful surroundings. Exploring the local area with a private guide provides a distinguished experience, allowing us to traverse the rainforest and get answers to our questions. Often, this gives us a deeper insight into the daily lives of the locals, observing the lifestyles and traditions of partially isolated tribes, while leaving behind the rush and modernity of our usual world. These experiences cannot be truly grasped if we were to tour the world with a group of tourists. We have discovered how privileged it feels to receive personal attention and how much more enjoyable and intimate everyday activities become when compared to the usual, mundane schedules back home.

By gathering all these experiences, lessons, and our best memories, we have set the goal of enabling our fellow travelers to experience the fantastic spice and variety of the world. All the while, they often don’t have to give up the luxury, comfort, and unique feeling that are integral to their lifestyle.
